The world’s largest social network, Facebook has made another acquisition, Helsinki-based technology startup, Pryte to further increase its usage adoption over mobile in emerging markets. Pryte allows single-click buying of mobile data on a per-app basis, enabling partnerships between app and content providers, and mobile operators.
Pryte provides the infrastructure to sell internet access within apps by Megabytes, getting more people around the world online. The company in a statement said, that by joining Facebook, it will further Internet.org’s goal of making affordable internet access available to everyone in the world.
